”State your name for the record, please.” Safiya.
”Cape name as well.” Safiya.
”How old are you?” Over 9000.
”Why become a hero/villain? I am a cursed, immortal vampire warrior from the days of Egypt and Mesopotamia, bound to serve the owner of the Captain's Blade.
”Do we have anything to worry about from you?” Apart from being a blood drinking killing machine? no.
Any affiliations we should know about? I have been cursed to serve the one who possesses the Captain's Blade. "Serve", being up to interpretation.

Physicians Notes
Height: 6'6" (1.98 m)
weight: 220 pounds (100 kg)
Even before becoming an immortal vampire, Safiya was an unparalleled warrior of antiquity. Having lived in such harsh times, she had to be strong, tough and quick, on her feet and in her mind. Vampirism merely brought her abilities to supernatural heights.
Power Analysis
Vampire Warrior: A whole package deal of super strength, speed, durability and reflexes. Spawned by a progenitor who believed in martial prowess, this is her main shtick. She can handle weight in the 10-ton regions, capable of sprinting up to 200kph (125mph for you Americans). She can avoid or block semi-automatic weapons fire, but full-automatic is above her reflexes. After all, the last time she saw a firearm was the age of flintlocks and muskets.
Deep Vampire Charm: When a situation calls for not killing everything in sight, Safiya does have a small degree of charm powers, though being primarily a warrior this affects only the weakest minds. Mundane charm of an Egyptian warrior princess is a different thing altogether. She can also dominate sharks and certain predatory sea life, rather than a "standard" vampire's control over bats, rats and wolves.
The Thirst: Regeneration when in combat. Must consume the fresh blood of humans to survive. None of this blood bank stuff, synthetic substitutes or animals. Fresh blood straight from the source and no less.
Necromancy: Schooled in the arts of dealing with the spirits of the deceased, including speaking with the dead and reanimating zombies with some modicum of intelligence. Can only control about a dozen or so, though. Also, ZOMBIE SHARKS.
Armor of the Deep: This spankin' suit of black full body armor, made of some forgotten Atlantean magitek, completely seals off Safiya from sunlight and lets her swim like Aquaman in water. It also features very fine dentical teeth, resembling shark skin, making physical contact with the armor extremely painful. It was originally was bronze in appearance, quite heavy and reinforced with magic; millenia of dark sorcery has fouled it, blackening and twisting the armor into some macabre monster from the deep, fitting for Safiya.
The Warrior's Code: Safiya is bound by a combination of outdated honor and a personal desire to find a "worthy foe". She is drawn more to fighting, and when it is to her satisfaction may forget her objectives.
Vampiric Weaknesses: Will burn up in direct sunlight without her armor, can be staggered by holy symbols wielded by faithful individuals. Susceptible to Necromancy and Holy magic. Casts no show nor reflection. Is susceptible to silver weapons and cannot regenerate from silver damage. Must frequently rest in her Sea Coffin to recover, which must be within at least 1 mile of sea water.
The Curse of the Captain's Blade: Some time during the Age of Sail, a group of pirates, working with Voodoo priests, managed to ensnare Safiya into their service, marking the start of a golden age of piracy. The Curse of the Captain's Blade ensures Safiya's begrudging loyalty to whoever is in possession of it and reads the invocation on it, "I shall have the loyalty of the Dark Marshal for my crew of the damned."
Psych analysis.
Subject Safiya exhibits extreme narcissism, superiority complex and a strong drive to dominate and control others. Given her history, this aggressive, conflict driven mentality was a natural survival mechanism but makes for a dangerous individual in the modern setting. Left to her own devices she will prescribe goals usually related to coastal raiding, amassing wealth and resources, or challenging great authorities.
