[Personality]
General Personality: Kesola is headstrong when she's in a comfortable place like her machina armor or manning ship weapons. One of a small pool of Forged Gen mods who take to the battlefield, she is steadfast in combat and fierce. Outside of said situations Kesola is a bit of an awkward encounter, she's not a great conversationalist nor has great interests outside of ships, she can go on for days about building, racing, parts ect… She can hold her drink fairly well and usually prefers the company of the more salty sailors and soldiers. She is loyal to the crown but not as zealously as some of her comrades, she is fully aware the Red Crown is not without it's great flaws. She is the type to keep her head down and ignore the evils until it grows too great.
Most prominent personality trait: Her strength of will and courage
Best traits: Her very friendly and easygoing nature
Worst traits: Lack of tact or subtlety, she can be quite the gruff barbaric person given the leeway. Also preferring the old ways of settling disputes by hitting someone. Though she is far from unintelligent matters of anything arcane or highly advanced tech elude her.
Likes: She drinks ale, liquor and mead like life blood. If it were not required for a Gen mod to stay healthy she'd eat nothing but meat. Her favorite activities are to do with racing Galleys.
Dislikes: Bellfr'uin she finds unsettling and really doesn't like any being using telepathy, she's not too fond of the Wave reed cells either. She has no great love of aquatic oceans as she doesn't know how to swim and has nightmares about it dating back to her childhood.
Fears: Aquatic oceans and the creatures that lurk in the deep, being ostracized for her lack of zeal.
Goals: Long term she desires to captain her own racing galley and compete professionally, in the short term she is more than satisfied serving under Aelius Ianto Krimwell
Habits: She tends to bite her thumb when in deep thought.
[Character Information]
Current faith or religion: Veah
Current superstitions/quirks: She has a keepsake from her uncle, a small family crest on a necklace she kisses before a battle.
Alignment: Lawful neutral
Marital status: Single
Occupation: Crown military
Family: Jindean MaceySmyth (brother), Caeperton Maceysmyth (brother)
[Power/Abilities/Weaponry]
Powers and Abilities:
Forged: The Forged are some of the heartiest people that there are living in environments most creatures would find inhospitable. The Forged are naturally strong and muscularly built even beyond what their physique suggests. Kesola can lift roughly 1 ton with ease, she can tolerate hotter and colder environments easier, can breathe easy at high altitudes and hold their breath for over 8 minutes.
Weaknesses: All Gen mods share an inherent blood weakness for the gift of their abilities though. One such failing is they cannot mate with their human cousins anymore, the blood of humans is like a toxin causing feverish outbreaks and crippling nausea. Furthermore a Gen mod is only at their full power off world, the radiance of the Solar lords is a key aspect of their abilities and is only fully felt in the Ocean.
Skills and Talents: Ship engine repair, ship defensive gunner, Helmsman, navigator, fishing (anything but ocean or sea), Martial artist
Equipment: Safety goggles, workmans gloves, minor engine repair supplies
Machina Armor: HWMC-520741 [M] Sorrow wind: A heavy machina armor consisting of standard military parts. Since Kesola is of the Forged cell she can bear the weight of the heavy parts easily. She has modified the armor so that she has one place for a large Ion bolt rifle and a powered poll hammer dubbed "Nécuul ef-gor" Scorch and smite. She also has a broad tower shield capable of withstanding most light weaponry and deflect it. With her strength she can wield the hammer in one or both hands and switch out for her rifle quickly, but that requires two hands to fire accurately. The AI is modified to be better at tracking incoming targets and incoming fire making the armor a very good defensive choice.
[History]
Current residence: HLV-Northwind, a frigate commanded by Aelius as part of the 97th fleet
Birthplace: Fission realm, Remard Grand, Veah, Copperloam
Memorable Figures: Aelius Ianto Krimwell, Sad Breeze, Kelail, Empress Theodara Gregollis
General History: Kesola spent a good deal of her life interested in racing vessels and various competitions, her brothers shared her interest from a certain perspective. Jindean worked for a company that did advertisements for racing events and Caeperton is a race engineer responsible for mapping and building obstacles for ship races. Kesola lost her parents when she was young during an attack by Oxtoro raiders on a freighter heading towards the Gentle tooth mine. She was raised by her Aunt who had a husband in military service. Her brothers unfortunately were not part of this, the aunt couldn't take on more than one so the brothers were split up among child care services. Her aunt was a decent woman but absent most of the time at her job like her husband, Kesola mostly looked after herself and her two little cousins. Over the years Kesola was taught some rudimentary combat skills by her Aunts husband because of her being one of the Forged Cells in the family. He felt despite her love of racing she could also make a good soldier. More due to the praise and missing love she got from her aunt and uncle Kesola enlisted in the Crowns military. During one of her training exercises the Empress was doing tours of the local military making her presence felt and bolstering the moral of the trainee linemen. Kesola single handedly stopped a Church of Gastel terrorist attempting to assassinate the Empress. In recognition for this act she was given commendations and granted audience with her highness Theodara. She's never spoken about what the two talked about in private and tells anyone who asks that it's a matter of royal security.
Kesola has also met The one and many Kelail, like many people she found the experience overwhelming standing in the middle of a massive city full of beings and yet no one bothered to speak. During her shore leave she made use of her time by asking Kelail to show her it's ship designs and share any racing knowledge or stories. Being as secretive as Kelail is little is revealed to her save for one key tip. Kelail told Kesola where to find some of the greatest hull designers Kelail knows about, one "Sad Breeze" a Bellfr'uin designer and engineer living in the Boir-Sectell colony. Kesola has fairly regular interactions with this Bellfr'uin man as together they try to work on making a racing galley on Kesola's off time.
Kesola is a subordinate knight to Aelius Krimwell and has been so for some time, she serves him and the crown loyally trusting Aelius level head and battlefield wisdom. Kesola and Aelius have fought together back to back a few times in some perilous situations against Pirates, Gastel zealots and Remingtide forces forming a strong bond between the two. Aelius typically gives her a little more leeway when speaking or offering council not minding her more crude and vulgar way of saying things. Kesola finds Aelius quiet way of listening, deep thought and short words refreshing. She tends to innocently enough offer to join Aelius for company as he does spend much of his time alone away from others. Alas thought Aelius is fond of Kesola the two rarely enjoy each others company. She's stated multiple times however that she will get the commander to laugh if it's the last thing she does in life.
